New-generation plastic windows ensure comfort in all respects
The basis of each window is a window profile, which is decisive for the properties of the entire window. These are statics, long life, resistance to wind and side rain, noise resistance and, inter alia, heat transmission through the window.
Stone injury in the thermal insulation of windows
If we focus on glazing, nowadays, the thermal transmittance of glass is at a very high level and insulating triple glazing units that achieve very high insulation values are commonly available. The stumbling block is the thermal transmission of the profile system, as window frames and sashes are, paradoxically, the weakest point in the thermal insulation of the window and not the glazing, as one might think. On the market today we find profile systems that do not meet the current established standards in thermal insulation, and there is also the possibility of mold or dew glass.
Catching up triple glazing is not always an ideal solution
Glazing with very high thermal insulation, often triple glazing, is often used to compensate for the high heat transmission of poor-quality profile systems and to achieve optimum thermal transmission throughout the window. However, this can also have negative effects, mainly because of the small amount of light and heat gains from the sun. Therefore, when purchasing windows, it is preferable to choose windows with a high-quality profile system together with reasonable glazing.
Unique solution for increased thermal insulation
The company Schüco , manufacturer and supplier of window profiles, came up with a unique solution to increase the thermal insulation of plastic windows. Researchers have found that the thermal transmission through the profile system significantly affects its steel reinforcement. This is required for the proper functioning and statics of each plastic window, but creates a large thermal bridge between the outside and inside of the window system. For this reason, Schüco has developed the innovative Schüco AluInside profile system
Plastic windows of new generation
Schüco AluInside is a new generation of energy-saving innovative plastic windows. Looking at the cross-section of the profile, we can see that there is no massive steel reinforcement. It is a new design solution of this profile, where its reinforcement is provided by two aluminum strips. The patented composite construction of plastic and aluminum reinforces the profiles so efficiently that the steel reinforcements used in conventional profiles can be omitted completely. The removal of these “thermal bridges” significantly increases the insulation performance of these profiles. Moreover, this solution provides narrow frames allowing the use of a larger glass area, which means more light.
These plastic windows are also lighter than those with steel reinforcement. This is especially appreciated by customers when handling larger leaf formats. By omitting the steel reinforcement, an additional chamber is created. The seven closed air chambers inside the profile ensure maximum thermal insulation efficiency, which has been unthinkable without costly additional measures. The Schüco AluInside window system is certified by Passivhaus. This means that Schüco AluInside plastic windows are also suitable for passive houses.
You save more than a quarter of your energy
Schüco has found that by replacing old windows with Schüco AluInside energy-saving plastic windows, you can save up to 33% of your energy consumption to date. For a typical family house, it can be up to 1,441 liters of fuel oil per year. At the same time, you will reduce the environment by nearly 4546 kg of CO 2 emissions per year. In addition to the innovative profile technology,
Schüco AluInside energy-saving plastic windows with three independent sealing levels offer you the benefit of excellent sound insulation and protection against adverse weather conditions. The excellent thermal insulation properties make Schüco AluInside energy-saving plastic windows exclusive residential windows, as the temperature on the inside of the frames does not drop significantly below room temperature even in the greatest winter. This prevents drafts and moisture from being permanently and effectively prevented.
Infrared images - thermography - clearly show where the biggest energy losses occur in the house. Red indicates heat loss and therefore energy loss.
After careful installation of the new Schüco AluInside windows, this thermography proves the high energy yield of the investment. The original energy loss was almost completely eliminated.
You can choose from three variants
Schüco AluInside profiles are available in three variants:
Look for quality, economy and safety
Plastic windows made of profile system Schüco AluInside are not only high quality and economical, but also safe. Their profile system is certified even for high security classes. When looking for new windows, always pay attention to the material used and also its origin. Also, ask the window vendor a certificate of performance that guarantees the properties of your new windows. Be careful where and how your new windows are made. Finally, think of the future and choose windows that promise a long,
